AHA HeartCode® Skills Sessions
The American Heart Association (AHA) offers HeartCode® courses as part of its blended learning approach to resuscitation training. This method combines online eLearning with in-person skills sessions to provide comprehensive instruction.
The AHA HeartCode® Skills Sessions are the hands-on component of the blended learning courses, such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS. These sessions follow the completion of an online eLearning module.
Blended Learning Structure:
1. Online Component: Participants begin with a self-paced online course that covers theoretical knowledge through interactive modules, simulations, and assessments.
2. In-Person Skills Session: After completing the online portion, schedule a hands-on session at one of our locations.
Benefits of Blended Learning:
- Flexibility: The online component allows learners to progress at their own pace, accommodating various schedules and learning styles.
- Consistency: Standardized online content ensures uniformity in the theoretical knowledge imparted to all participants.

AHA Accredited
Being AHA accredited signifies meeting the American Heart Association’s rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness in training. Accredited courses ensure participants receive up-to-date, evidence-based instruction in life-saving techniques like CPR and first aid. This accreditation instills confidence in learners and underscores the program’s reliability and credibility.
